Born in Australia, we’ve experienced migration first-hand through being an ex-pat in both the Middle East and New Zealand.
After leaving Qatar for NZ, I started working as a Migration Assistant, specifically hired to work on Australian files. I quickly fell in love with the work. To me, it is the perfect mix, technical knowledge and research for when I needed to get into the nitty gritty, mind numbing admin when I’d had enough, and adventurous clients who wanted to change their lives and I get to use my wits and knowledge to help them. I quickly became addicted to doing my best so I could have the reward of telling them their visa had been granted!
When making the decision to come home to Australia, I weighed up getting another job or starting my own business. The idea of handing over my clients and losing touch with their journey decided me. I negotiated with Working In to keep taking care of them, and Mindful Migration was born. 3+ years later, Mindful Migration is going from strength to strength, with three employees, plenty of wonderful clients and a massive plan for the future.
Every person I have encountered along my path to this moment has had an impact on the Agent I am and the business I am creating. A migration agency that remembers we all have a story and a dream, it’s up to Mindful Migration to be the bridge between them.
